What a down to earth guy.  He came to Baton Rouge for a trick shot expedition with Mike Machuga.  They were sitting outside prior to the demonstration and I went outside and actually talked to Norm for a few minutes.  I was amazed how he just chated away like we had known each other for years.  I am glad to see that there are still some celebrities out there that know where they came from and are willing to act casual around us the little people.

An up and down night over all the team one 5 out of 7 so we are still in first place.  I had a 268 game my first game and then fell apart after that.  Carry went away in the second game and the I went away the third game.

Lightning does "stirke" twice!  I threw another 700 last night.  It seems everyone was right once you get that first one the rest come easier.  On a darker note we lost 4 out of 7 points but, we are still in first place.  My first game should have been higher because I  missed a 9 pin to open in the tenth.  Anyway, I will keep on posting as the season continues.

Well, week 7 was not that bad I bowled my average of 205.  We won 5 out of 7 points so we remain solely in first place.  I did bowl another 600 series so that makes 6 weeks in a row with 600 or better.  I would have killed for this night in the fall league so I should not complain.

214-213-189= 616

Well, last night was a good night over all but I just have set my standards so high that anything less than last week's 700 are a minor disappointment.  Let me stress MINOR.  I am not unhappy with what I did I just wish it was a little better.

213- First game I was confident and things looked good but I missed a ten pin in the tenth so that cost me a 224.

221- Second game I struggled a little early with carry and then left a split in the seventh frame but came back and struck out with a five bagger.

203- Third game started with a strike then missed a four pin(bone head) and left a nasty split in the third.  Just kinda of spare strike for the rest of the game.

So, I had a 637 for the night and raised my average up a few more pins to somewhere around 206 or 207.  That should make me the second highest average on the league.
